YOU could be the 62nd Queen Colleen and the 2nd Irish Princess!
Join the legacy of Queen Colleen and Irish Princess by registering to compete today! You will have the opportunity to serve as the Irish representative of the Parade for a year through attending events around the Denver Metro Area, riding in the Parade, taking part in the planning of the 2025 parade, and more. Oh, and did we mention you'll make radio and television appearances?
Qualifications
Queen Colleen
- Be 21-years-old by APPLICATION DEADLINE 01/15/2024.
- Will not be older than 30-years-old as of 02/02/24.
- It is preferred but not required, that:
- you have Irish heritage, by virtue of an ancestor born in Ireland, OR
- you are involved in an Irish organization, OR
- you have an interest in the Irish community or culture.
- Be available to attend all obligatory Queen Colleen events listed under Queen Colleen and Candidate Event Requirements.
- Be a resident of Colorado for a minimum of six months prior to the application deadline - 01/15/2024 - and agree to be a resident of Colorado for minimum one year if crowned Queen Colleen.
- Your personal appearance, your demeanor, and attire should, at all times, properly represent the family oriented nature of the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee.
Irish Princes
- Be 14-years-old by APPLICATION DEADLINE 01/15/2024.
- Will not be older than 20-years-old as of 02/2/24.
- It is preferred but not required, that:
- you have Irish heritage, by virtue of an ancestor born in Ireland, OR
- you are involved in an Irish organization, OR
- you have an interest in the Irish community or culture.
- Not married.
- Be available to attend all obligatory Queen Colleen events listed under Queen Colleen and Candidate Event Requirements.
- Be a resident of Colorado for a minimum of six months prior to the application deadline - 01/15/2024 - and agree to be a resident of Colorado for minimum one year if crowned Irish Princess.
- Your personal appearance, your demeanor, and attire should, at all times, properly represent the family oriented nature of the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Application Fee: $50
This is a non-refundable fee due at the time of the application.
Entry Fee: $300
Each candidate must pay, in full, the entry fee of $300 prior to the start of the pageant on February 2, 2024. Contestants are welcome to fundraise or find sponsorship to cover the cost of the entry fee.
Program Ads: It is requested that each delegate sells one program ad. Program ads will be displayed on the Parade website, at the competition, and in the program book.
Small ad: $75
Medium ad: $100
