Grand Marshal

Noel is Owner/Proprietor of the Celtic on Market Street in Denver. A great advocate of Irish heritage and Denver’s beloved St Patrick’s Day Parade, Noel has been involved through hosted events and in-kind donations. In 1984, Noel moved to Düsseldorf, Germany where he met his best friend, wife and business partner Wendy. They married here in 1991 and now have two beautiful children, Owain, who is 30 years old and Mali who is 20. They decided to move to Colorado after their 1998 visit where they could not picture a better place to raise a family.  With 23 year’s experience in the restaurant pub business in Denver, Noel understands first-hand the incredible opportunity an event like the Denver Parade presents to local businesses. This year will be the first time Noel Hickey will be on the parade route greeting parade-goers from our float!
