The Denver St Patrick's day Parade Committee is busy planning for our Golden Jubilee parade scheduled for March 17, 2012. We thank everyone involved in putting on our 49th Parade this year; our entrants, our sponsors, Alpine Rescue team, our Parade Grand Marshall, Roz Brown, the City and County of Denver, spectators and everyone involved in our many committees. Our parade history roots go deep in Denver and we plan on highlighting some of our golden moments throughout the year. Keep watching our website and facebook page for important announcements throughout the year.

The committee is working hard to capture the rich history of our parade in Denver by producing a complete and concise history of the Parade in Denver. As with our Parade, it would not be the same without the participation of the people of Denver. We are looking for photos and stories to include in or 5oth anniversary history. If you would like to contribute to this effort please contact our Historian, Maureen Caldwell (mobasketcase@comcast.com). The committee is planning a commemorative pictorial history that will be available sometime after December this year.

2011 was the first time ever that we had a Queen compete in the Rose of Tralee International Festival in Ireland and the first time for our Little Shamrock competition.

Once again thank you to Bellco Credit Union and all of our other sponsors and advertisers whose financial support allows us to bring this amazing parade to you each year.

Remember, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day!
